How to Make Your Soap Bar Last Longer

Your new soap has arrived and your hoping it will last forever, right? Unfortunately it won’t last forever, but here are some tips for making it last longer.

• Keep the soap dry between uses – place the bar in a soap dish with ridges that will allow air to move around the entire bar. Or better yet, try a self-draining soap dish like one of those displayed below .
• Keep the soap bar out of the stream of water while showering.
• Alternate bars between showers – Use one bar one day and another the next. This will allow time for the bars to harden back up between uses.
• Cut the bar of soap in two or four – Use a portion of the soap at a time, leaving the rest in a dry place to be used later.
